Silk screen printed in an elegan  Eau de Nil this subtle shade was inspired by the painted shutters of houses in the south of France, bringing a calm, sophisticated tone to your table.

Each mug is made from genuine English fine bone china, celebrated for its strength, delicate translucency and wonderful levity in the hand. Despite its refined feel, fine bone china is remarkably durable and perfect for everyday tea or coffee due to its high calcium content.

The mug is finished with a hand-painted 24 carat gold rolled rim and matching gold detail along the handle, adding a subtle touch of luxury while maintaining the simplicity of the design.

Materials

All Xavier Britain tableware is made from top grade English 'fine bone china'.

The ingredients used in making our ceramics, from the bone china body to the enamel colours and lithographs used in decoration, as well as the custom designed packaging are all sourced from and prepared by local suppliers in Stoke-on-Trent, England.

Dishwashers & Care Guide

Fine bone china is one of the toughest ceramic materials on the market with high levels of calcium content.

Each item is dishwasher-safe, and will last for decades if not centuries.

Even items decorated with gold or hand-painted rims can be put in dishwashers. We do recommend using a cold or delicate setting to prevent tarnishing, however, as well as liquid detergent.

The only rule is that our china isn't put in a cupboard for special occasions. It's robust, resilient and ready to party!
